1. GET INFORMED !

2. CONTACT US
The oppourtune moment for your decision is the one you feel. However, the perfect time to start the necessary procedures is the 6th or 7th month of pregnancy. In case the delivery is scheduled within a MONTH, please, call us as soon as possible. Thus, in case of premature delivery, we will avoid the risk of placental blood failing to be sampled or the necessary formalities failing to be carried out in due time. Even in these extremely cases, our advisers will help you, by providing the information you need and asking you certain personal information.

3. READ THE CONTRACTS
You will get the necessary documents to assure the legal framework for placental blood sampling. Read these documents carefully and, should you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

4. SEND BACK THE CONTRACTS
The documents you filled in and signed shall be sent back to CORD BLOOD CENTER Ro as soon as possible for us to have enough time to carry out the other procedures.

5. COLLECTION KIT SUBMISSION
After receiving the documents you signed, we will set up an appointment for you to get all the devices necessary for placental blood sampling 8 weeks before the baby delivery probable date.
Thus, after signing the contract, we shall assure:
-the collection kit containing the necessary devices for blood sampling
- doctors’ training in case he or she has not performed placental blood sampling before
- shipping of the sampled placental blood.

6. TAKE THE COLLECTION KIT WITH YOU TO HOSPITAL
When going to hospital for delivery, do not forget to take placental blood sampling devices and hand them on to the doctor or the nurse that monitors you.

7. THE DELIVERY AND THE PLACENTAL BLOOD SAMPLING
The doctor who assists baby’s delivery, shall also sample the placental blood. If the doctor has never carried out such a procedure, the medical representatives of our company will ensure their training before your baby’s delivery.

8. LET US KNOW !
After the delivery and placental blood sampling, it is compulsory that a member of your family call us, and we will overtake the blood from the hospital as soon as possible.

9. GET THE RESULTS
In about one month after delivery, you will receive the certificate issued by our lab certifying the viability of the transplant placental blood. In the same envelope, you will also find the invoice covering our services. Please, pay attention to the payment details on the invoice!
